Porntip's exposure to art and design began since early childhood as she grew up in a family of artists and designers. Porntip's father owned a printing press where in addition to managing the press he did most the graphic and artwork himself. Porntip's aunt manages a billboard advertising company that engages several artists and designers. Similarly, her uncle is a ceramic designer and owner of ceramic factory renowned worldwide for his unique design of miniature ceramic figurines. Porntip grew up observing the work of the artists with keen interest. Constant exposure to art and design helped to nurture Porntip's desire to become an artist herself.
After completing her studies, Porntip got her first job as a secretary but after a short while she realized that secretarial job was not for her and she had to venture in the world of art and design and fulfill her desire of becoming an artist.
Porntip had a burning desire to study art and learn how to paint, but before persuing a degree in art she sought help from an artist, Jamrat Ratana. Working in his studio for almost a year Porntip practiced drawing, painting and composition. Subsequently, she became a fulltime student of art at Rangsit University, Patumtani, Thailand, where she earned her bachelor degree in fine arts.
Before pursuing her master degree in Communication Arts, from Bangkok University, Bangkok, Thailand, she worked as a freelance designer and made premiun products, mostly for Mead Johnson (Thailand) for one full year. To further expand her exposure to different form of art, she joined her uncle's ceramic factory as a trainee learning ceramic making techniques and processes.
In 2007, she completed a course on "Marketing and Design Integration Program" conducted by the Department of Industrial Promotion.
She recently teamed up with another artist and sat up her own art studio.
